About Us & Our Pedagogy
At Bilingual Minds we prioritize creating an inviting environment tailored to the needs of our students. We understand that everyone’s strengths and learning styles are varied, which is why we are hyper focused on individual needs. To promote continuous progress we assess student level and respond to specific concerns of parents upon beginning sessions and continue to pay meticulous attention to the degree of progress. This ensures we are taking the correct measures towards student overall success. Our aim is to build connections with students and play into their strengths to further their language development and keep their grades and confidence up.

Our Program Director
Our program director Anna, is an Ontario Certified Teacher employed at YRDSB and DDSB. Her experience in teaching began in high school, when she did her first co-op placement in a grade 2 class at YRDSB. Growing a passion for teaching, Anna continued to pursue opportunities in multiple tutoring companies through her transition from highschool through the end of her undergraduate studies. She then pursued teachers college and completed 3 semester-long placements in YRDSB Secondary Schools, where she shadowed/assisted various French Language Programs, such as Core French, French Immersion and IB French from grades 9-12. After completing teachers college, she now works for YRDSB and will continue to further her own education by pursuing a Professional Masters Degree with a focus in Global Education. Her past and current experience make up the basis of our pedagogical approach which is creating an inviting environment tailored to the needs of our students. We recognize that the process of learning a second language is different for everyone, depending on levels of existing knowledge and learning styles, which is why we are hyper focused on the individual needs of our students.
